Rachel has a deep passion for providing exceptional care to every animal she meets, Prior to joining our team Rachel worked Small Animal Internal Medicine Specialty and Emergency. She takes great pride in working with Working dogs, collaborating with K9 Handlers to ensure that K9 Officers receive the highest standard of medical care.  She also has a passion for canine behavior and is particularly drawn to complex cases involving fear and aggression. She thrives on understanding the unique challenges these cases present and is committed to helping each animal feel safe, understood, and cared for.  Outside of the hospital, Rachel enjoys educating K9 Handlers and EMS for Emergency field training for K9 Officers and travels teaching such in her time off.  At home Rachel has 2 Belgian Malinois, a Blue Heeler, 3 horses and 2 birds.
