Hi! I'm Rebekah Parker, but my friends and family call me Beka. I graduated from Lees-McRae College with a BS in wildlife rehabilitation and pre-professional biology in 2015. I then went on to graduate from NC State College of Veterinary Medicine with my DVM in 2019. After graduating, my husband and I relocated to California where I practiced at a GP hospital in the sunny city of Redding. In 2024 we welcomed our baby boy and decided to move back to NC. We bought a home, settled in Canton and I started at the Animal Hospital of Waynesville in December of 2024. Our little family consists of my husband (Ben), our son (Elijah) and our two pups - a corgi mix (Joey) and a red heeler (Yeti). In my free time you can find me outside playing with Eli, baking breads & deserts, crocheting a new project or curled up with a good book. I am so happy to be a part of the AHoW family and can't wait to meet you and your fur babies!
