I was raised in Michigan, then moved to Florida to obtain my B.S. in Biology at Florida Gulf Coast University. I attended veterinary school in Indiana at Purdue University. I was drawn to western North Carolina for the mountains and beauty, so upon graduation, my husband, three dogs, four cats, and 8 chickens packed up and moved to WNC. I am passionate about small animal surgery and preventive medicine.  I enjoy making long-term relationships with clients and caring for their current and future pets. I decided to work at The Animal Hospital of Waynesville because of their fear free and cat friendly practices which will ensure my patients will not only be treated physically but mentally as well. I enjoy hiking, gardening, DIY remodeling projects, and spending time with my family.
