After completing a BS in biology in my home province of British Columbia, Canada, I spent several years working in wildlife research, receiving a Masters Degree in Wildlife Science at Louisiana State University. Despite enjoying that career path, I really wanted to work directly with animals and started as an assistant at the Animal Hospital of Waynesville. The following year, I returned to Canada to study Veterinary Medicine at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Since then I have been practicing veterinary medicine at the Animal Hospital of Waynesville. I live with my husband Joe, 3 sons: Evan, Austin and Kaden and 1 sweet pup: Catalina.
