AAHA Accreditation

The Animal Hospital of Waynesville is an accredited member of the American Animal Hospital Association, an association well known among veterinarians for its high standards for hospitals and pet health care.

In order to achieve this distinction, our hospital volunteered to undergo a thorough evaluation by examiners that included an in-depth analysis of the facility, medical equipment, practice techniques, and medical records to ensure excellence in technical abilities and quality patient health care.

The building which houses our hospital has been part of downtown Waynesville for many years. For its new purpose as a home for our veterinary practice, in 1992 Dr. Hammett completely gutted and rebuilt it to the standards of the American Animal Hospital Association.
